The WKKK organized a lot of events that focused on helping the community and the families of fellow Klanswomen and Klansmen. If a fellow member (men or women) needed financial help the Klan would be there to help by organizing events that would help raise money for those in need. They would also give out food baskets to the needy, hand out milk to the public school children and raised money to help finance the building of Protestant hospitals. Klanswomen were vigorous in their effort to recruit churches and its members by visiting a church service dressed in full Klan attire, walking to the font of the church and giving an envelope filled with cash to the minister.
